It's funny. Some days i feel like writing novels here, and other days pass withoiut notice. I wonder it is that makes people share their thoughts ostensibly with starngers when they would not put those same thoughts into a conversation with loved ones? is it because we as people feel the need to gather people in to ourselves, and once someone is close we no longer feel the tension that makes us speak our minds? or is it perhaps because (just men) have been raised in the stereotypical way we all know about (no crying etc) and so once a person moves from new date, or sexual conquest, or football buddy into a more intimate friendship/relationship that we must renew our vested personalities and return to our predescribed socio-psychologic trappings. I often wonder why i can bitch about a loved one to a complete stranger, but not tell a loved one directly to put a cap back on the toothpaste beacause it irritates me.
Finally what is it that posseses some people to take an immediate negative attitude with someone (even a stranger) as opposed to being polite. After all being polite isn't just nice for the other person, it is also healthier for ourselves and in the long run it is probably the right way to be.
Ironically...
I could never be a cannibal - I just don't like people.
